Our redesigned Defender Series iPad 2 case offers all around rugged protection. To install your device into the case, first remove the screen protector shell. Now, separate the silicone from the hard plastic shell. Start with releasing the dock door, and then working your way around the edges. Be careful not to pull from any ports or plugs. You can now separate the two pieces of the hard shell. To do this, release the two tension clips on each side of the bottom of the case. You will also need to release the small tension clips at the base of the dock door. The case should now slide apart. Now, place the device into the front half of the plastic. Making sure all the features line up. The back can now be installed. Slide the top together making sure the tabs are properly placed, and then push the bottom into place. You can now work your way around the case pushing the two halves together, making sure everything snaps into place as you go. Next install the silicone. Place the case into the silicone making sure everything lines up. You can now go around the edges, flipping the silicone over the retaining edge, and then firmly pushing it into place. Push the ports and plugs into place. On the dock door, lift the door slightly and push down on the hinged area, making sure all the retaining slots line up. You can now push the rest of the door down. Your device is now protected. The redesigned shield stand easily flips up providing two viewing angles. The shallower angle is ideal for typing, while the more upright angle is perfect for viewing. [music]
