Inside Apple’s Force Touch Trackpad

In our current teardown of Apple’s brand name new 13″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display, one of the upgrades– the Force Touch Trackpad– really captured our eye. This updated trackpad has actually transformed in nearly every method, so we took a seat with Andrew Goldberg, among our teardown engineers, to obtain a bit more understanding into how it is placed with each other and also how it works. Spoiler alert: it’s truly great!
