Does iPhone charge faster with iPad charger?

I’ve questioned for some time whether an apple iphone charges much faster when connected to an iPad charger. I, as well, really felt that billing using the iPad charger appeared quicker.

Curiosity overcame me, so I purchased this cheap yet handy gadget that shows the voltage and gauges as well as present drawn by USB devices.

The gadgets used are:
Apple iPhone 5
Initial Apple iPhone 5W/1A charger
Original Apple iPad 4 12W/2.4 A battery charger
Initial Apple Lightning Cable (from iPad 4).
Apple iPad 4 (as control test to show that the charger is able to provide even more than 1A existing, which the USB power meter has the ability to gauge even more than 1A existing).

Ends up, I was wrong. The iPhone attracts 1A existing from both chargers, as well as so it matters not which charger you utilize.
